Typical Responsibilities
Provides front-line client service and plans and coordinates production for all in-house digital printing jobs including layout, paper allocation, and bindery services. Prepares quotes and final billing. Tracks jobs through production to ensure production quality and timely delivery. May assist with copy services digital workflow as needed.
Supervisory Responsibility
Positions in this series are not required to supervise staff.
Overtime Eligibility
FLSA overtime status is based on the position’s duties and responsibilities, and whether or not the position’s gross salary is less than the federal FLSA salary basis test or the Washington state salary basis test, whichever is higher. Professional Staff Exemption
Graphic Arts and Publications: Individuals having prescribed academic preparation or special training in the fields of graphic arts, printing and publications, and who are assigned to a major academic or administrative unit and who are responsible for the development and design of scholarly or related publications, or the full range of printing and publication activities.

Limitations
Individuals are expected to have academic work or special training in the fields of graphic arts, printing, and publications in order to perform the work of positions assigned to this payroll title. There is no FLSA Exempt payroll title for this series.
