Pro Staff Market Range Adjustments as of February 1, 2018

Effective February 1, 2018, market ranges for professional staff jobs were adjusted based on the 2017 Professional Staff Salary Survey conducted by the Milliman consulting firm. These changes help keep the University’s pay structures competitive with the market.

As a result of these adjustments, all professional staff employees with salaries below the new minimums had their salaries raised to the new minimum by the Integrated Service Center. These employees saw the new pay rate on their February 26 paycheck. No action is required at the unit level.

We are also taking this opportunity to clean up the professional staff compensation plan, inactivating hundreds of overtime eligible pro staff jobs in Workday that were created for the cancelled 2016 FLSA change.
