The DEI Rubric is a comprehensive tool developed by the UWHR DEI team. This tool is designed primarily for use by staff departments and their leadership and can be used to review and assess the effectiveness of your department’s DEI efforts, initiatives and strategies as well as existing policies, practices and written materials. In alignment with and helping to advance the efforts of the UW Diversity Blueprint, the Rubric can help your team measure progress toward DEI goals and develop action plans to institutionalize diversity, equity and inclusion practices and procedures.
The DEI Rubric is recommended for leadership teams, diversity committees, DEI leads or representatives or anyone in your department who has the decision-making power or budgetary authority to enact change.
