UW Management Fundamentals classes empower supervisors and other organizational leaders with best practices, policy information and strategies for hiring and managing employees at the UW.

Implementing Equitable Hiring Practices (Q0140)
- Tuesday and Wednesday, July 22 & 23, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Register now.
- Tuesday and Wednesday, August 12 & 13, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Registration will open later this summer.
Managing Corrective Action at UW (Q0070)
- Wednesday, July 30, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Register now.
- Wednesday, August 20, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Registration will open later this summer.
Managing Employee Performance (Q0570)
- Tuesday and Thursday, July 8 & 10, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Register now.
- Tuesday and Thursday, August 26 & 28, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Registration will open later this summer.
Funding these classes aligns with UWHR’s strategic focus to develop programs that are both inclusive and equitable and that enhance manager expertise; in addition, these classes help address 2020 Campus Climate Survey responses indicating a strong need for additional training for supervisors.
