UW Proposes January Start for 2017-2019 Negotiations
UW has proposed to begin negotiations for the 2017-2019 SEIU 1199 “master” agreement in January of 2017, in order to better position the parties to reach agreement prior to the contract’s expiration and in time for the anticipated implementation of UW’s new HR/payroll system. The union has not yet provided a formal response.
