The last day of bargaining for the WSNA-Montlake contract before the June 30th expiration date is this Friday, June 27. The last day of bargaining for the WSNA-Northwest contract before the June 30th expiration date is Monday, June 30. We are hopeful that the parties will make significant progress during these two bargaining sessions in order to reach agreement on these successor contracts. In the event the parties do not reach agreement during these sessions, the current contracts will remain in effect and any MOUs with expiration dates will expire as of June 30.

For a summary of the parties’ previous proposals, please refer to the prior WSNA bargaining updates. The UW remains committed to working with WSNA to reach an agreement on successor contracts for both bargaining units and will continue to engage in good faith negotiations throughout the process.
