SitterCity
Not just childcare: offered through Bright Horizons, PEBB-eligible UW employees and students can access a free premium membership to SitterCity, allowing you to run an unlimited number of basic background checks on prospective pet caregivers and view results of those you previously completed.
SitterCity offers thousands of pet sitters, matched by skill and location, for every pet need:
- Dog walkers
- Cat sitters
- Groomers
- Trainers
- Personalized pet care (puppies/kittens, special needs, injured, unusual breed)
To access SitterCity tools and resources, visit the Bright Horizons UW website and enter your employer to create an account.
Washington Employee Assistance Program
PEBB eligible UW employees have access to Perks at Work through our Washington Employee Assistance Program’s (WA EAP). Browse the many discounts available, from pet insurance to employee pricing at pet stores near you.
Navigate to the WA EAP Worklife portal and enter your agency code (UW). Spanish content available by using the top left “Choose Language” menu. Explore content areas by using the drop down menus near the top of the page, or use the orange “centers” in the middle of the page to access the “Savings Center” for access to a discount shopping program.
