Typical Responsibilities
Provides independent mental health and chemical dependency diagnostic, treatment, and crisis intervention services to UW students in the Mental Health Clinic of Hall Health Primary Care Center. Participates in all unit-wide meetings and activities.
Supervisory Responsibility
Direct supervision of staff is not required.
Overtime Eligibility
FLSA overtime status is based on the position’s duties and responsibilities, and whether or not the position’s gross salary is less than the federal FLSA salary basis test or the Washington state salary basis test, whichever is higher. Professional Staff Exemption
Counseling of Students: Individuals responsible for directing and/or participating in providing academic, athletic, career, medical, financial aid, student activity, and/or personal counseling to students.

If the primary focus of the position is to provide personal, financial aid, career, student activity or athletic counseling to students, consider the Counselor payroll title series. If the position requires a PhD/Psy.D in clinical, educational or counseling psychology and licensure as a psychologist or equivalent, consider the Psychologist payroll title.
