DEFINITION
Assists in the development and control of a forms management program in a large organization.
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS
Perform lead duties over Forms Analysts in the analysis, design, development, and control of forms.
TYPICAL WORK
Study existing forms and develop a forms control program;
Participate in procedural studies to eliminate forms duplication and to establish forms standardization;
Confer with data processing personnel and develop data processing forms for current and future systems;
Meet with office and department personnel to develop forms compatible with current, as well as future, requirements;
Consolidate and standardize existing forms according to good forms design principles;
Assist in developing specialized files pertinent to the ""Forms Management"" program;
Visit designated units periodically to assist in forms development;
Contribute to the development of a ""Forms Control"" program within individual units;
Perform related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - UW Contract Classified
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS - Classified Non-Union
A Bachelor's Degree in business administration, accounting, industrial engineering, or a closely related field and two years of experience in forms design work or forms management. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted, year-for-year, for required education.
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
Examination Requirements:
A job element examination (including written, E & T and oral components) scored on the basis of job related experience, training, skill, ability and other elements which are established through job analysis.
