All nominees who have met the award criteria receive a congratulatory email and a copy of their nominations. The nominator and the nominee’s supervisor are copied on the email.
Selection committee begins review of eligible nominees.
March
Thorud awardees are notified by the Vice President of Human Resources and receive a congratulatory letter from the Office of the President that includes details about being recognized as part of the UW’s Awards of Excellence recognition in spring 2024.
April
UW Insider and UW Today officially announce all awardees.
June
Thorud Leadership Award recipients recognized with other major UW award programs associates with the UW’s Awards of Excellence.
