Family support through UW CareLink includes edler care assistance. Get help making decisions about the care of an aging parent or chronically ill adult by getting connected to a professional who will work to understand your situation and provide guidance. You’ll get assistance developing a personalized care approach and finding direct care services.

Additionally, UW CareLink specialists provide qualified referrals and resources for just about anything on your family’s to-do list, such as:

  • Hiring movers or home repair contractors
  • Locating pet care
  • Finding childcare
  • Housing searches
  • Sending a child off to school

What to expect when you call CareLink for family or work/life support

When you call CareLink for eldercare or work/life support, you can expect your guidance counselor to be patient, attentive, professional and kind. They should actively try to connect you with a counselor or resource that meets your needs and criteria.

  • You can access this service 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • You can get a referral to a service provider in the community, but there is no fee discount.
