If you did not renew your U-PASS during Annual Renewal in June, or if you cancelled your U-PASS in the last year, you may need to purchase a U-PASS before returning to campus. View the U-PASS update for autumn quarter to learn how to verify your U-PASS membership.
If it has been more than 60 days since you last tapped your U-PASS on an ORCA card reader, it is likely inactive. In preparation for a return to onsite work, use UW Transportation’s web form to request reactivation. It may take 24 to 48 hours for the request to process.
Once you’ve purchased or reactivated your U-PASS, you’ll need to tap your U-PASS on an ORCA card reader within 60 days to complete the process (and at least once every 60 days after that to keep your U-PASS active). View UW Transportation’s U-PASS webpage for more information about using the U-PASS.
