Recaps are published online on the <a href=\"https:\/\/hr.uw.edu\/labor\/academic-and-student-unions\/uaw-ase\/ase-negotiation-updates\">UW Labor Relations website.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is the third session with a Public Employment Relations Commission mediator.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Status Update<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The Employer and the Union have reached agreement on 34 out of 37 articles. No changes to<br \/>\ndependent premiums, which the UW<br \/>\ncovers at 65%. Slight improvements<br \/>\nto the vision coverage of the plan<\/p>\n<p>\nStarting October 1, 2026, ASEs would<br \/>\npay 15% of the premiums, with the<br \/>\nUniversity paying 85%.
