Recaps are published online on the <a href=\"https:\/\/hr.uw.edu\/labor\/academic-and-student-unions\/uaw-ase\/ase-negotiation-updates\">UW Labor Relations website.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Employer filed for contract mediation with Public Employment Relations Commission (PERC).<\/p>\n<h4><strong>UW package proposal:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The Employer reasserted their comprehensive package proposal from 4\/30 that covers all of the outstanding articles and MOUs.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Status Update<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The Employer and the Union have reached agreement on 33 out of 37 articles. No changes to<br \/>\ndependent premiums, which the UW covers at 65%.<br \/>\nSlight improvementsto the vision coverage of the <br \/>\nplan<\/p>\n<p>Starting October 1, 2026, ASEs would<br \/>\npay 15% of the premiums, with the<br \/>\nUniversity paying 85%.
