Please see below for decks from recent trainings offered.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>UPCOMING COURSES<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><strong>Labor Relations 101 &#8211; Labor Relations at the UW: <\/strong>Designed as an introductory course, LR 101 is offered to new or existing managers to introduce them to the core principles of labor relations. This session provides an overview of the essential knowledge needed to understand the rights and responsibilities inherent in the collective bargaining process, aiming to help understand grievances and avoid engaging in Unfair Labor Practices (ULP). Through this foundation course, participants will gain a clearer perspective on the dynamics of labor relations at the University of Washington, setting the stage for more effective and legally compliant management practices.<\/p>\n<p>Upcoming dates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>June 15, 2026:<\/strong> 10:00AM-11:30AM <a href=\"https:\/\/washington.zoom.us\/meeting\/register\/rXjRtOsWSJiHtD_vRbrwCw\">Register Here.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Labor Relations 102 &#8211; Union Information Requests <\/strong>provides participants with the knowledge to navigate union information requests effectively and in compliance with legal requirements. Participants gain a better understanding of the unions\u2019 right to information and increase their confidence in completing union information requests.<\/p>\n<p>LR 102 is recommended for managers and HR professionals who may respond to union information requests. However, it is open to anyone interested in learning more on the topic. While LR 101 is recommended as a foundational course, it is not required.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Join the <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=W9229i_wGkSZoBYqxQYL0hhYFNg7EMJEn_51dYQlRDJURjRJTkJTV0FEMzdSMFdISTM4UjFPMFFEQi4u\">waiting list<\/a> if you would like to be notified of future openings.
