Agreement Reached with UAW for Research Coordinators & Research Consultants<\/h4>\n

UW has reached agreement with UAW on terms to integrate the Research Coordinators and Research Consultants (RCoCos) into the existing UAW Research Scientist\/Engineers bargaining unit and collective bargaining agreement. Members of UAW have voted in favor of ratifying the agreement. The agreement remains in effect through June 30, 2026.<\/p>\n

Effective immediately, many provisions of the existing UAW RSE contract apply, unchanged, to the RCoCos. See a full list below:<\/p>\n

Additionally, some terms of the existing RSE agreement will be modified to account for inclusion of the RCoCos into the CBA. The main UAW Research contract page will be updated shortly with the modified terms, which are available now in the MOU below:<\/p>\n
