As a self-sustaining unit of Human Resources’ Total Talent Management team, the UTemp Staffing program provides staffing services throughout the University’s many schools, colleges, organizations and affiliates. While the need for specific skill sets varies depending on the nature of the work needed at any given time, UTemp seeks to maintain a diverse pool of candidates who possess a variety of different types of knowledge, skills and experience. We continually seek candidates who take pride in their work, are flexible, and have an attitude of service and commitment.

Below is a list of common areas for which we seek applicants. However, the need for candidates with specific skill sets varies depending on the types of positions that are open for recruitment at any given time, and the nature of the work needed.

- Healthcare office administration (patient services, medical records)
- Fiscal administration (costing/budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, medical/dental billing)

- Student services (registration services, counselors, campus guides)

Length and schedule of UTemp assignments
Length of assignments and shifts vary depending on specific staffing needs, which may include short-term work for unique projects, longer-term coverage for leaves of absences, as well as temporarily filling a vacancy until a recruitment is complete. While part-time opportunities do become available from time to time, candidates who have full-time availability to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, are in the highest demand. Most opportunities are day shift, although sometimes there are positions requiring weekend or evening shifts. Locations we serve
UTemp Staffing assignments may be located at one of our three campuses (Seattle, Bothell, and Tacoma), one of our Medical Centers locations, as well as the greater Puget Sound area.
