That&#8217;s why we&#8217;ve created tools, templates and ideas to support managers in celebrating staff authentically and consistently.<\/p>\n<p>The University of Washington Service Award Program recognizes all regular staff for their continuous years of service to the University every five years of continuous service starting at the 5-year service mark.<\/p>\n<div id=\"accordion\" class=\"uwhr-accordion\">\n<div class=\"panel panel-default\">\n<div id=\"headingOne\" class=\"panel-heading\">\n<h5 class=\"panel-title\"><a class=\"panel-link collapsed\" href=\"#collapseOne\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-parent=\"#accordion\">Celebrating 5 years at UW<i class=\"fa panel-title-icon\"><\/i><\/a><\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"collapseOne\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse\">\n<p><strong>Here is the UW Service Award 5 year milestone process:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 1 &#8211; Notification:<\/strong> Managers and employees receive an email at the beginning of the month notifying them that it is their Service Award anniversary.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2 &#8211; Pin and Certificate Delivery: <\/strong>Managers receive the employee\u2019s celebration five-year pin and five-year certificate through campus mail and are responsible for presenting their employees with the pins and certificates. <em>Managers: Make sure your campus mailbox is updated in Workday.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Note for UW Medicine departments: If your department has a UW Service Awards coordinator, the coordinator will receive the manager communications.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"panel panel-default\">\n<div id=\"headingTwo\" class=\"panel-heading\">\n<h5 class=\"panel-title\"><a class=\"panel-link collapsed\" href=\"#collapseTwo\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-parent=\"#accordion\">Celebrating 10+ years at UW<i class=\"fa panel-title-icon\"><\/i><\/a><\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"collapseTwo\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse\">\n<p><strong>Here is the UW Service Award 10, 15, 20, 25 + year milestone process:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 1 &#8211; Notification:<\/strong> Managers and employees receive an email at the beginning of the month notifying them that it is their Service Award anniversary.\u202fThe email will include instructions and a link to order their gift from the University Book Store.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2 &#8211; Gift Selection:<\/strong> The employee is responsible for ordering their preferred gift using the provided link.
