SFVA will create space for military-connected employees to find community, support, and opportunity\u2014across all three campuses. SFVA is open to all UW employees.<\/p>\n<h4>Contribution and goals<\/h4>\n<p>While many UW efforts focus on student veterans, SFVA addresses a distinct gap by centering military connected staff and faculty. Our work will uplift veteran identities within intersecting roles\u2014across race, gender, LGBTQ+, caregiving, and career stage. Using Veteran Critical Theory and intersectional frameworks, SFVA will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Elevate visibility of military-connected employees.<\/li>\n<li>Promote understanding that veterans are a diverse, multifaceted population.<\/li>\n<li>Offer meaningful pathways for community-building, mentorship, and advocacy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"border: 2px solid #85754d; padding: 10px 30px 10px 72px; border-radius: 10px;\">\n<h5>Join us<\/h5>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/r\/01khxUdFrh\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Join the SFVA<\/a>!
