Medical Centers\u2019 Human Resources will continue to operate on site.<\/p>\n<p>Your colleagues in UWHR are here to collaborate with you as you continue important work and we learn together to be innovative and successful remotely. <a href=\"https:\/\/hr.uw.edu\/contact-us\/\">Find staff by name, title or unit<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4>Virtual Resources<\/h4>\n<p>Social distancing has created new opportunities to be innovative. Many programs that normally take place on campus now bring us together virtually.<\/p>\n<p>New employees should continue to register for <a href=\"http:\/\/ucs.admin.uw.edu\/pod\/Course\/Details\/WDAY1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Welcome Day<\/a>. When they do they\u2019ll receive information on an alternative format that prepares employees for a successful start.<\/p>\n<p>New <a href=\"https:\/\/hr.uw.edu\/pod\/courses-and-workshops\/online-learning\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">online learning<\/a> opportunities are also available through Professional &amp; Organizational Development. Leaders can drop in to free weekly <a href=\"https:\/\/ucs.admin.uw.edu\/pod\/Course\/Details\/V0340\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">POD office hours<\/a> to ask questions and get help with managing the challenges and disruptions in the current environment.<\/p>\n<p>Wellness is more important now than ever. Learn how <a href=\"https:\/\/thewholeu.uw.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Whole U<\/a> has taken nutrition, fitness, and mindfulness virtual with new courses and opportunities to come together as a community.<\/p>\n<h4>Important HR updates during COVID-19<\/h4>\n<p>HR policies and practices are being updated frequently due to COVID-19 emergency measures.
