Working during COVID-19

UWHR COVID-19 Update

Updated Tuesday, March 24, 2020

UWHR campus programs and services are operating remotely by phone, email, and through virtual tools during normal business hours. Medical Centers’ Human Resources will continue to operate on site.

Your colleagues in UWHR are here to collaborate with you as you continue important work and we learn together to be innovative and successful remotely. Find staff by name, title or unit.

Virtual Resources

Social distancing has created new opportunities to be innovative. Many programs that normally take place on campus now bring us together virtually.

New employees should continue to register for Welcome Day. When they do they’ll receive information on an alternative format that prepares employees for a successful start.

New online learning opportunities are also available through Professional & Organizational Development. Leaders can drop in to free weekly POD office hours to ask questions and get help with managing the challenges and disruptions in the current environment.

Wellness is more important now than ever. Learn how The Whole U has taken nutrition, fitness, and mindfulness virtual with new courses and opportunities to come together as a community.
