Positions in this classification are responsible for staffing coordination duties ensuring staffing requirements are met across the hospital<\/p>\n<p><strong>TYPICAL WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Systematically collect census and staffing requirements, and projected number of admissions from Charge Nurses to project resource needs and assign available staff according to established agreements;<\/p>\n<p>Ensure accurate entry of assignments into UW Medicine Timekeeping Advanced Schedule software; generate various staffing reports;<\/p>\n<p>Monitor the Absence from Work line and follow algorithms to communicate absences to appropriate departments; monitor the staffing email and phone for urgent changes required by Charge Nurses;<\/p>\n<p>Run and review licensure reports in Workday; review Department of Health website to perform primary site license verification and update Workday with new expiration dates and follow standard procedures when required credentials are not updated by required deadlines;<\/p>\n<p>Ensure cost effective cancellation of contract and nonpermanent staff during low census;<\/p>\n<p>Coordinate staffing and resource allocation with Nursing Supervisor to open and close boarder areas to accommodate fluctuating census;<\/p>\n<p>Perform scheduling and timekeeping functions for the Resource Team;<\/p>\n<p>Perform other duties as assigned.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of administrative experience.<\/p>\n<p>Equivalent education and\/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and\/or registration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CLASSIFICATION HISTORY\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>03\/01\/2025: New Class<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UW CODE AND REPRESENTATIVE GROUP 21423 (NE H SEIU 1199NW UWMC Northwest Service and Maintenance) 23691 (NE H NI SEIU 1199NW UWMC Northwest Service and Maintenance) BASIC FUNCTION Support Patient [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":49,"featured_media":0,"parent":12,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_lmt_disableupdate":"no","_lmt_disable":"no","footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-8686","page","type-page","status-publish","format-standard","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.2 -
