Receive, prioritize and process work orders; resolve production conflicts; maintain production and cash sales records; prepare materials for billings and perform routine equipment maintenance. Regularly assign, instruct and check the work of others, including student and\/or hourly employees in a production environment; assist in performance evaluation of others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TYPICAL WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Receive and evaluate work orders to establish and assign job priorities; work with clients and staff at other copy centers to determine production needs, meet production requirements and deadlines;<\/p>\n<p>Train employees in all aspects of the centers operation;<\/p>\n<p>Schedule production;<\/p>\n<p>Assist clients with digital technology including file transfers, printing from disk, etc;<\/p>\n<p>Provide outstanding customer service;<\/p>\n<p>Maintain work records and prepare reports;<\/p>\n<p>Operate cash register; maintain cash account and billing records;<\/p>\n<p>Operate copy-related computer programs such as Copy Services on-line forms and databases, including the Course Pak Database and the Copyright Permissions Database;<\/p>\n<p>Operate photocopy and related equipment; check performance of equipment and perform regular diagnostic and maintenance tasks; schedule maintenance and service calls as required;<\/p>\n<p>Understand and enforce departmental copyright procedures;<\/p>\n<p>Order supplies and maintain inventory;<\/p>\n<p>Operate small bindery equipment and other peripherals;<\/p>\n<p>Prepare paperwork and deposit reports for accounting \/billing units;<\/p>\n<p>Perform duties of Copy Machine Operator Lead;<\/p>\n<p>Perform related duties as required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>High school graduation or GED certificate AND six months of experience operating high volume copy equipment or equivalent.<\/p>\n<p>Equivalent education and\/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and\/or registration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CLASSIFICATION HISTORY\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>12\/07\/1987: New Class<br \/>\n07\/02\/1990: Revise MQ<br \/>\n01\/01\/2001: Revise Class<br \/>\n06\/01\/2005: CSR Class Conversion<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UW CODE AND REPRESENTATIVE GROUP 17656 (NE S SEIU 925 Non Supv) 22393 (NE H NI SEIU 925 Non Supv) BASIC FUNCTION Provide copy service through the coordination of activities at assigned copy center(s).
