Work requires extensive knowledge of architectural graphics, drafting methods and techniques, drafting systems, drawing reproduction systems, architectural drafting standards, building codes, building materials, and building equipment hardware; may lead work of other personnel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TYPICAL WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Gather and develop field information necessary in preparing working drawings and estimates;<\/p>\n<p>Prepare working drawings for construction and\/or remodeling projects;<\/p>\n<p>Make estimates and material takeoffs from drawings and assist in writing specifications;<\/p>\n<p>Prepare charts for presentation of statistical data;<\/p>\n<p>Assist in design and draw heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning systems for existing and remodeled buildings; maintain drawings of all campus facilities &#8220;&#8221;as built&#8221;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Operate blueprint duplicating equipment;<\/p>\n<p>Perform related duties as required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Two years of training in drafting or architecture, OR two years of practical experience as a facilities drafting technician.<\/p>\n<p>Equivalent education and\/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and\/or registration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CLASSIFICATION HISTORY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>01\/03\/1973: New Class<br \/>\n10\/12\/1973: Revise Title<br \/>\n01\/15\/1976: Revise Title &amp; Minimum Qualifications<br \/>\n07\/01\/2004: New to SEIU<br \/>\n06\/01\/2005: CSR Class Conversion<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UW CODE AND REPRESENTATIVE GROUP 17625 (NE S SEIU 925 Non Supv) 22376 (NE H NI SEIU 925 Non Supv) DEFINITION Prepare sketches, working drawings, and free-hand architectural presentations necessary [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":96,"featured_media":0,"parent":12,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_lmt_disableupdate":"no","_lmt_disable":"no","footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-5350","page","type-page","status-publish","format-standard","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.2 -
