{"id":5316,"date":"2024-03-26T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-03-26T07:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hr.uw.edu\/comp\/?page_id=5316"},"modified":"2026-06-27T19:03:17","modified_gmt":"2026-06-28T02:03:17","slug":"forms-analyst-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/hr.uw.edu\/comp\/forms-analyst-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Forms Analyst 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>UW CODE AND REPRESENTATIVE GROUP<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>17027 (NE S SEIU 925 Non Supv)<br \/>\n22211 (NE H NI SEIU 925 Non Supv)<\/p>\n<p><strong>DEFINITION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Review and evaluate business and report forms; coordinate the development and procurement of new forms; provide consultation to managers in the solution of forms management problems.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This class is distinguished by major emphasis on the analysis and design of forms.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TYPICAL WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Analyze existing forms; prepare improved versions; evaluate new requirements; prepare draft forms and coordinate with user; prepare corrected draft for copy;<\/p>\n<p>Evaluate cost comparison between internal production and outside procurement of forms; determine quantities to order, delivery dates, and inventory levels for reorder points;<\/p>\n<p>Write form specifications and distribution instructions; write purchase requests and furnish sample to be printed with request;<\/p>\n<p>Coordinate development of artwork and proofs; review proofs for accuracy and quality; obtain approval of proofs from using department; review plates, negatives, and artwork; on approval, send to printer; review completed order for accuracy, quality, and quantity;<\/p>\n<p>Maintain files and records on old and new forms; record revisions; maintain form numbering systems, note procurement sources; maintain forms catalogs and form samples;<\/p>\n<p>Serve as forms consultant to using departments; provide information, samples, and informational material; attend meetings; act as resource specialist on forms development and procurement;<\/p>\n<p>Perform related duties as required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in business administration, accounting, industrial engineering or a closely-related field; AND one year of experience in forms design work of forms management.
