Make independent judgments of specific task related to the program specialty. Resolve problems and respond to inquiries that require specific knowledge of the program specialty.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TYPICAL WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Resolve problems and respond to inquiries regarding program area policies and procedures;<\/p>\n<p>Maintain knowledge of a complex electronic and paper based information systems;<\/p>\n<p>Serve as a contact person to provide accurate information concerning the program specialty; provide information relating to policies and procedures for the specific program and perform duties that interact with other staff members both internal and external to the medical center;<\/p>\n<p>Handle technical and medical information in a variety of formats (paper, micrographic, and electronic) including assisting in the establishment, maintenance, filing, retrieval, and purging of information from both database and the patient records;<\/p>\n<p>Determine the appropriateness of access to medical records and confidentiality, based upon policies and procedures of the program specialty;<\/p>\n<p>Abstract information from patient records, for internal use;<\/p>\n<p>Assist in monitoring the content of databases and individual patient records for accuracy, timeliness, and completeness;<\/p>\n<p>Perform other related duties as required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>High School graduation or equivalent and two years of increasingly responsibility experience in a health care setting.<\/p>\n<p>Equivalent education and\/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and\/or registration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CLASSIFICATION HISTORY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>07\/01\/1995: CSA\/8222 Effective 7-1-95<br \/>\n06\/01\/2005: CSR Class Conversion<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UW CODE AND REPRESENTATIVE GROUP 18222 (NE S SEIU 925 Non Supv) 22534 (NE H NI SEIU 925 Non Supv) BASIC FUNCTION Perform a variety of complex tasks in support [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":96,"featured_media":0,"parent":12,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_lmt_disableupdate":"no","_lmt_disable":"no","footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-5278","page","type-page","status-publish","format-standard","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.2 -
