Under direct supervision, perform routine laundry processing tasks, such as inspecting, pressing and folding.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TYPICAL WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Inspect, patch, count, mark, sort, fold, bundle and tie processed laundry;<\/p>\n<p>Iron and press institution clothing and linens;<\/p>\n<p>Operate flat iron steam pressers and small piece folders;<\/p>\n<p>Collect and prepare laundry items for processing;<\/p>\n<p>Fold rough-dry items, e.g., patient gowns and isolation gowns;<\/p>\n<p>Check processed laundry requests and deliver products to user areas or floor carts;<\/p>\n<p>May load and operate washing machines and tumblers;<\/p>\n<p>Perform related duties as required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Three months of experience in an institutional or commercial laundry.
