Assign work at a project or job location, instruct other assigned workers, correct and specify methods, and perform skilled painting work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TYPICAL WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Regularly assign, instruct and check the work of others; assist in selection, evaluation and discipline of others;<\/p>\n<p>Assure adherence to safety rules and precautions by assigned personnel;<\/p>\n<p>Prepare preliminary cost estimates for painting and finishing work;<\/p>\n<p>Develop methods and procedures to be followed by assigned personnel;<\/p>\n<p>Perform the duties of Painter;<\/p>\n<p>May perform work in other trades;<\/p>\n<p>Perform related duties as required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One year of full-time experience as a journey painter or equivalent trade skill.
