Exercise independent judgment when issuing citations or warnings for parking infractions. Assist the public by providing information concerning parking regulations, locations and directions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TYPICAL WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Patrol assigned campus parking areas on radio equipped vehicles; observe parking and traffic patterns; issue citations for parking violations;<\/p>\n<p>Operate hand held computers to generate citations; prepare warnings manually;<\/p>\n<p>Identify and report inadequate signage;<\/p>\n<p>Report traffic and parking conditions and incidents requiring police investigation;<\/p>\n<p>Appear in court to testify on parking citations;<\/p>\n<p>Direct traffic for scheduled activities and in the event of a traffic accident, campus construction, or other traffic disruptions;<\/p>\n<p>Perform related duties as required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One year public contact work in a customer service environment and possession of a valid Washington State motor vehicle driver&#8217;s license and no previous felony convictions.<\/p>\n<p>Equivalent education and\/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and\/or registration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CLASSIFICATION HISTORY\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>07\/26\/1999: Revised Class<br \/>\n06\/01\/2005: CSR Class Conversion<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UW CODE AND REPRESENTATIVE GROUP 17658 (NE S SEIU 925 Non Supv) 22395 (NE H NI SEIU 925 Non Supv) BASIC FUNCTION Patrol and enforce parking regulations in campus parking [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":96,"featured_media":0,"parent":12,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_lmt_disableupdate":"no","_lmt_disable":"no","footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-4885","page","type-page","status-publish","format-standard","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.2 -
