Under general supervision, assist with physical therapy treatments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TYPICAL WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Prepare patient and environment for therapy;<\/p>\n<p>Implement treatment to patients with moderate to complex diagnoses, as directed by the physical therapist;<\/p>\n<p>Report changes in patients&#8217; status to therapist;<\/p>\n<p>Participate in rounds for assigned patients;<\/p>\n<p>Schedule assigned patients and departmental duties;<\/p>\n<p>Assist the therapist in performing patient evaluations and tests;<\/p>\n<p>Write progress notes; assist in completing informational forms;<\/p>\n<p>Conduct hydrotherapy treatments of patients;<\/p>\n<p>Maintain a clean, safe working environment;<\/p>\n<p>Maintain therapeutic equipment;<\/p>\n<p>Complete charge documents for patient services;<\/p>\n<p>May assist in instructing and evaluating students;<\/p>\n<p>May perform clerical duties;<\/p>\n<p>Perform other duties as required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An Associate of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program that includes patient treatment affiliation.
