Assist in the design of experiments; determine appropriate experimental controls.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TYPICAL WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Collaborate with primary investigator, and assist in designing experiments; examine proposals to determine projects and methodologies best suited to research objectives;<\/p>\n<p>Determine the most suitable methods to be used in research; determine appropriate experimental controls;<\/p>\n<p>Edit and write reports of research including the assembly, organization, analysis and interpretation of data; perform necessary literature survey;<\/p>\n<p>Prepare and present written and oral reports of experimental results;<\/p>\n<p>May train and direct the work of Research Technologists and other laboratory personnel;<\/p>\n<p>May direct the operation of one or more facets of the research laboratory;<\/p>\n<p>May evaluate and select new equipment;<\/p>\n<p>Perform duties of Research Technologist II;<\/p>\n<p>Perform related duties as required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS <\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in an appropriate field of technology or science and two years experience as a Research Technologist, or equivalent; OR an advanced Degree in an appropriate scientific field.
