Provide consulting and\/or technical assistance to users\/clients on routine hardware\/software problems.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Under general supervision, write routine computer programs from existing specifications and perform modifications and updates to existing programs, databases and\/or application software. Perform routine systems analysis tasks such as analyzing, researching and developing programming\/system alternatives. Provide technical support to users\/clients.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TYPICAL WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Modify existing programs to accommodate changes in systems requirements for equipment configurations;<\/p>\n<p>Write, test and debug routine computer programs and perform modifications and updates to existing programs and\/or application software;<\/p>\n<p>Perform systems analysis and prepare technical specifications on routine maintenance items;<\/p>\n<p>Translate detailed logic flow descriptions into coded computer program instructions;<\/p>\n<p>Maintain database(s) and related operations such as screen, form or report requirements, and determine data types to be processed; revise record layout and data dictionary entries;<\/p>\n<p>Provide consulting and\/or technical assistance to users\/clients on routine hardware\/software problems;<\/p>\n<p>Develop and maintain documentation of programs\/applications\/operational procedures;<\/p>\n<p>Perform installation\/troubleshooting of system hardware\/software incidental to implementation of problem solutions;<\/p>\n<p>Design detailed computer record and screen form layouts;<\/p>\n<p>May participate as a team member on projects;<\/p>\n<p>May direct the work of others;<\/p>\n<p>Perform the duties of Systems Analyst\/Programmer I;<\/p>\n<p>Perform related duties as required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One year experience as a Systems Analyst\/Programmer I.<\/p>\n<p>Equivalent education and\/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and\/or registration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CLASSIFICATION HISTORY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>06\/16\/1977: New Class (effective 07\/01\/1977)<br \/>\n01\/01\/1994: Revise Class<br \/>\n05\/01\/2000: New to CSA<br \/>\n06\/01\/2005: CSR Class Conversion<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UW CODE AND REPRESENTATIVE GROUP 17912 (NE S SEIU 925 Non Supv) 22458 (NE H NI SEIU 925 Non Supv) BASIC FUNCTION Perform systems analysis\/programming tasks such as writing, testing, [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":96,"featured_media":0,"parent":12,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_lmt_disableupdate":"no","_lmt_disable":"no","footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-4414","page","type-page","status-publish","format-standard","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.2 -
