CLASS SERIES CONCEPT<\/strong><\/p>\n

Produce video and media content for Continuum College through creative and technical production processes in collaboration with stakeholders and project teams.<\/p>\n

BASIC FUNCTION<\/strong><\/p>\n

Designs and produces media and video content to support marketing efforts and online education. Collaborates with faculty and staff on scriptwriting, storyboarding, and multimedia integration. Manages all aspects of video production and digital asset administration, and faculty training while contributing to cross-functional projects and supporting innovation across Continuum College.<\/p>\n

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Under direct supervision, support video content through production activities, capturing and editing multimedia content, and preparing creative and technical elements.<\/p>\n

TYPICAL WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n

Participate in project meetings to define video scope, messaging, timeline, and production needs.<\/p>\n

Develop storyboards and collaborate with stakeholders on creative concepts and marketing objectives.<\/p>\n

Coordinate interviews, photoshoots, including scheduling, permissions, logistics, and releases.<\/p>\n

Prepare interview subjects and guide them for effective on\u2011camera performance.<\/p>\n

Scout, stage, and secure locations for optimal lighting, sound, and visual quality.<\/p>\n

Set up and operate video, audio, lighting, and teleprompter equipment in studio and on location.<\/p>\n

Capture multi\u2011camera video and photography that supports marketing and instructional storytelling.<\/p>\n

Script video content using interviews, transcripts, and collaboration with staff and stakeholders.<\/p>\n

Edit multi\u2011camera footage, enhance audio, apply color correction, and assemble cohesive narratives.<\/p>\n

Create motion graphics, titles, animations, and support media assets for video projects.<\/p>\n

Produce and edit photography for use in marketing, storytelling, and course materials.<\/p>\n

Manage video projects, schedules, assets, releases, metadata, and distribution across platforms.<\/p>\n

Maintain multimedia equipment, digital repositories, archives, and ensure compliance with accessibility and metadata standards.<\/p>\n

May supervise student workers, interns, and independent contractors.<\/p>\n

Perform other duties as assigned.<\/p>\n

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bachelor\u2019s degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience.<\/p>\n

Equivalent education and\/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and\/or registration.<\/p>\n

CIVIL SERVICE EXEMPTION<\/strong><\/p>\n

Graphic Arts and Publications: Individuals having prescribed academic preparation or special training in the fields of graphic arts, printing and publications, and who are assigned to a major academic or administrative unit and who are responsible for the development and design of scholarly or related publications, or the full range of printing and publication activities.<\/p>\n
