CLASS SERIES CONCEPT<\/strong><\/p>\n

Within Continuum College, support the administration, support, and strategic development of digital platforms that enable teaching, learning, and operational excellence. Manage platform functionality, user experience, and system integration.<\/p>\n

BASIC FUNCTION<\/strong><\/p>\n

Perform professional-level duties to configure, maintain and enhance technology platforms used in educational and administrative contexts. Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned platforms, providing user support, managing integrations, and coordinating with internal and external partners to ensure systems meet current and future needs.<\/p>\n

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Under limited supervision, manage platform-specific operations and support. Serve as the primary point of contact for system users and vendors. Troubleshoot issues, lead platform improvement efforts, and advocate for user needs.<\/p>\n

TYPICAL WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n

Administer and support technology platforms such as learning management systems, customer relationship management tools, or media delivery systems.<\/p>\n

Manage user access, permissions, and integrations.<\/p>\n

Monitor system performance.<\/p>\n

Coordinate upgrades and feature implementations.<\/p>\n

Serve as an escalation point for support and triages issues.<\/p>\n

Manage vendor and stakeholder relationships.<\/p>\n

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align platform functionality with organizational goals.<\/p>\n

Participate in strategic planning. Contribute to platform roadmaps and adoption strategies.<\/p>\n

Develop documentation and training materials.<\/p>\n

Report on system usage and support trends.<\/p>\n

Perform other duties as assigned.<\/p>\n

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bachelor\u2019s degree in a related field and three years of relevant experience.<\/p>\n

Equivalent education and\/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and\/or registration<\/p>\n

CIVIL SERVICE EXEMPTION<\/strong><\/p>\n

Senior Computer Systems and Network Programming: Individuals having demonstrated professional competence in computer systems and network programming above the journey-level, who independently perform work assignments, and devise methods and processes to meet new and unique work requirements and problems. Employees having substantial responsibility in at least one of the following areas: Applying systems analysis techniques and procedures including consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications; designing, developing, documenting, analyzing, creating, testing, or modifying computer systems or programs, including prototypes based on and related to user or system design specifications; designing, documenting, testing, creating, or modifying computer programs related to machine operating systems; or a combination of these duties, the performance of which requires the same level of skills.<\/p>\n
