CLASS SERIES CONCEPT<\/strong><\/p>\n

Within Continuum College, manage and support collaborative relationships with UW academic units. Focus on client engagement, cross-functional coordination, and long-term relationship development. Serve as liaison with UW academic units and stakeholders, ensuring that program goals are met through strategic planning, operational alignment, and continuous improvement.<\/p>\n

BASIC FUNCTION<\/strong><\/p>\n

Serve as the primary liaison between academic partners and internal service teams. Responsible for maintaining a portfolio of academic partners, coordinating cross-functional support, and ensuring that partner needs are met through strategic planning, effective communication, and collaborative problem-solving.<\/p>\n

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Independently assess partner needs, advise on navigating institutional policy, coordinate internal resources, and guide program development and operations. Maintain high-quality service delivery and foster long-term, trust-based relationships with campus stakeholders. In contrast to higher-level administrative leadership roles, this job profile maintains a hands-on focus on relationship management and strategic consulting.<\/p>\n

TYPICAL WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n

Responsible for building and maintaining strategic relationships with internal teams and UW academic units.<\/p>\n

Independently consult with and assess partner needs and recommend strategic solutions.<\/p>\n

Coordinate a variety of internal teams to deliver services across areas such as marketing, finance, instructional design, registration, and information technology.<\/p>\n

Provide subject matter expertise in navigating institutional policies, procedures, and governance structures.<\/p>\n

Ensure alignment with institutional policies and priorities.<\/p>\n

Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal colleagues.<\/p>\n

Leverage internal expertise to support program success, proactively address and resolve issues.<\/p>\n

Facilitate cross-functional meetings.<\/p>\n

Manage timelines and deliverables. Provide budgetary guidance.<\/p>\n

Escalate emerging issues as needed.<\/p>\n

Communicate program goals and operational details to both internal and external audiences.<\/p>\n

Identify and recommend process improvements by evaluating workflows and best practices.<\/p>\n

Perform other duties as assigned.<\/p>\n

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bachelor\u2019s degree in a related field and five years of relevant experience.<\/p>\n

Equivalent education and\/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and\/or registration.<\/p>\n

CIVIL SERVICE EXEMPTION<\/strong><\/p>\n

Continuing Education: Individuals that have responsibility for administrative, operational and\/or educational components of extension or continuing education activities or programs.<\/p>\n
