Participate in multiple phases of activities or programs including planning, marketing, delivery, maintenance, and evaluation.<\/p>\n<p>If the primary focus is to develop curriculum and related training\/course materials and\/or programs, then a Continuing Education Specialist job profile may be more appropriate. If the primary focus is to coordinate general academic, administrative, or operational initiatives, then a Project Manager job profile may be more appropriate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BASIC FUNCTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Support Continuum College\u2019s goals through a variety of increasingly complex administrative, operational and\/or educational components of continuing education activities or programs. Apply program knowledge and exercise judgment to ensure operations align with program structure, objectives, and stakeholder needs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Under general supervision, independently maintain, implement, and support a diverse portfolio of courses and degree and certificate programs delivered in a variety of formats. Make key decisions in collaboration with program managers to ensure the success of the day-to-day operations of offered programs. Analyze data to determine trends and lead continuous efforts to improve program workflows, processes, and procedures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TYPICAL WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Oversee day-to-day program operations, ensuring alignment with program structure, objectives, and stakeholder needs.<\/p>\n<p>Manage and optimize operational processes, tools, and systems, including registration platforms and course websites.<\/p>\n<p>Develop and maintain clear, up-to-date documentation of operational procedures, user manuals, and customized program policies.<\/p>\n<p>Serve as the primary liaison for the registration system, including troubleshooting, best practices development, and improvement recommendations.<\/p>\n<p>Responsible for tracking and reporting on budgets, enrollment statistics, and other key program data.<\/p>\n<p>Provide customer service to program participants, campus partners, and the public, representing the program and Continuum College.<\/p>\n<p>Serve as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders, developing and maintaining communication channels.<\/p>\n<p>Develop and lead efforts to improve workflows, processes, and procedures across the program.<\/p>\n<p>Oversee complex supply management for programs, including purchasing, packing, and coordination with instructors.<\/p>\n<p>Coordinate with staff to manage key administrative components, including registration, rosters, and field trip logistics.<\/p>\n<p>Participate in onboarding and training staff; support workflow handoff to maintain course operations.<\/p>\n<p>Assist in developing public-facing content, ensuring accuracy and engagement.
