Under general direction, coordinate implant requests for surgery, ensuring implant availability, expense submission, and implant inventory management.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TYPICAL WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Serve as the primary point of contact for the availability of implants and related supplies needed for surgery across multiple departments;<\/p>\n<p>Review surgery schedules to confirm implant needs and resolve or escalate resource conflicts;<\/p>\n<p>Maintain inventory of stock to ensure next-day surgical readiness;<\/p>\n<p>Submit requisitions to order implants required for surgical procedures; maintaining designated par levels;<\/p>\n<p>Receive, track, distribute, and prepare\/assemble implants and related supplies according to protocols and regulatory standards;<\/p>\n<p>Collect and reconcile implant documentation, resolve discrepancies, verify completeness, and initiate vendor returns as needed;<\/p>\n<p>Coordinate across departments to ensure timely and accurate revenue and expense capture; verify correct implant and supply usage and maintain purchase order accuracy;<\/p>\n<p>May participate in the development, testing, and implementation of new supplies and equipment for the department; and<\/p>\n<p>Perform other duties as required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>High School or equivalent AND two years of relevant experience in a surgical setting, including surgical products, equipment, and procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Equivalent education and\/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and\/or registration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CLASSIFICATION HISTORY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>06\/16\/2026: New Class created for SEIU 925.
