{"id":10819,"date":"2026-06-11T09:04:25","date_gmt":"2026-06-11T16:04:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hr.uw.edu\/comp\/?page_id=10667"},"modified":"2026-06-27T15:42:22","modified_gmt":"2026-06-27T22:42:22","slug":"central-receiving-coordinator-lead","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/hr.uw.edu\/comp\/central-receiving-coordinator-lead\/","title":{"rendered":"Central Receiving Coordinator Lead"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>UW CODE AND REPRESENTATIVE GROUP<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>25698 (NE S WFSE Campuswide)<br \/>\n25697 (NE H WFSE Campuswide)<br \/>\n25696 (NE H NI WFSE Campuswide)<\/p>\n<p><strong>BASIC FUNCTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Within UW central receiving, lead staff and oversee receiving, inspecting, documenting, and staging goods for distribution.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Regularly assign, instruct and check the work of others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TYPICAL WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Assign, instruct, and review the work of Central Receiving Coordinator;<\/p>\n<p>Serve as the primary point of escalation for operational issues, shipping delays, or discrepancies;<\/p>\n<p>Oversee all inbound campus deliveries at the designated Central Receiving facility;<\/p>\n<p>Verify accuracy of records, ensure record receipt of goods;<\/p>\n<p>Collaborate with procurement, shared services, and departments to support operational needs;<\/p>\n<p>Audit uploaded packing slips and related documentation;<\/p>\n<p>Ensure compliance with UW financial controls and documentation standards;<\/p>\n<p>Oversee delivery prioritization and determine operational needs;<\/p>\n<p>Manage chain-of-custody systems;<\/p>\n<p>Inspect shipments for accuracy, completeness, and visible damage;<\/p>\n<p>Contribute to performance evaluations and onboarding of new staff;<\/p>\n<p>Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery;<\/p>\n<p>Track key operational metrics (e.g. turnaround time, error rate, etc.);<\/p>\n<p>Operate university vehicles to make deliveries across campus as needed;<\/p>\n<p>Perform the duties of Central Receiving Coordinator;<\/p>\n<p>Perform related duties as required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>High school graduation or equivalent AND<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>three years\u2019 experience in\u00a0receiving\u00a0logistics, warehousing, mailing\u00a0services\u00a0logistics, or supply chain operations; valid motor vehicle operator\u2019s license.<\/p>\n<p>Equivalent education and\/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and\/or registration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CLASSIFICATION HISTORY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>05\/01\/2026: New Class<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UW CODE AND REPRESENTATIVE GROUP 25698 (NE S WFSE Campuswide) 25697 (NE H WFSE Campuswide) 25696 (NE H NI WFSE Campuswide) BASIC FUNCTION Within UW central receiving, lead staff and oversee receiving, inspecting, documenting, and staging goods for distribution.
