The need for reliable child care changes as kids grow. Below are resources and discounts that may be helpful for securing in-home care, before or after school care and summer time camps. You can also find information on other UW programs that offer child care on-campus that are part of UW academic department.

Discounts on local nanny and au pair services

Before-school and after-school programs

UW faculty, staff, and students save 10% on standard weekly tuition rates for full-time and part-time care at KinderCare Learning Centers and Champions Before-School and After-School Programs.

The Champions before- and after-school programs are for school-age children and are available at participating elementary schools in the Central Kitsap, Federal Way, Kent, Northshore, and Tacoma school districts.

For student parents, the Child Care Assistance Program for students provides information about child care and other programs, including financial assistance to cover basic child care costs for those eligible.
