2021 Schedule

Each one-hour lunch and learn will be held virtually via Zoom and feature 3-4 UWCFD member nonprofit organizations working in these thematic areas. Sessions are from 12 – 1 p.m. and are open to anyone interested. Register at the link provided. Questions? Email us at uwcfd@uw.edu.

Women’s Health and Wellness: December 1 Register here
Planned Parenthood of Western Washington delivers vital reproductive health care, sex education, and information to millions of people worldwide.
Team Survivor NW: We believe in the power of fitness to improve women’s lives after a cancer diagnosis. This belief is backed by research and the women who have walked through our doors.
BABES Network YWCA provides peer support for women living with HIV though education, outreach, advocacy, and more.
Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center conducts research of the highest standards to improve prevention, detection and treatment of cancer and related diseases resulting in reduced pain and suffering caused by these diseases.

Disaster Relief and Emergency Services: December 3 Register here
Global Impact works on charitable ventures to inspire greater giving. We serve as a trusted advisor, intermediary and implementing partner across the private, nonprofit and public sectors. Through these partnerships, we have raised nearly $2 billion for causes such as disaster relief and global development.
Northwest Healthcare Response Network: Since 2005, the Northwest Healthcare Response Network has led a healthcare coalition, which is an affiliation of private and public partners working together to prepare for, respond to and recover from disasters, pandemics and emergencies.
Airlift Northwest: We work closely with first responders and hospital staff to transport those in greatest need wherever they need to go to receive definitive care.
Medic One Foundation aims to improve pre-emergency care through paramedic training, CPR training, improved medical tools and innovative research.
