Did you know that more than 2.2 million people in the United States are behind bars? Incarceration is an insufficient solution for many social issues such as mental illness, racism, poverty, homelessness and drug addiction. Yoga Behind Bars is committed to giving people the opportunity to heal and prepare for their return to our communities by addressing a root cause of incarceration: trauma.

You’re invited to learn about the program and experience a trauma informed yoga class yourself. Register today! Optional $10 donation to benefit Yoga Behind Bars. Sponsored by the UW Combined Fund Drive and The Whole U.
