If you need help

- The UW COVID-19 Employee Emergency Fund is providing up to $750 for a critical, temporary, and unforeseen financial hardship due to COVID-19. Financial grants don’t need to be repaid and are not taxable as income.
How you can help
All of your favorite nonprofits need support right now. Funding streams have been hit hard. Many of them are serving our most vulnerable populations.
The UWCFD has many funds set up to rapidly respond to COVID-19 needs
- Contribute through payroll deduction to the UW COVID-19 Employee Emergency Fund.
- Consider making a direct gift to your favorite nonprofit to provide immediate support and cash flow.
- Give to nonprofits that are part of the UWCFD for longer term assistance, cash flow and organizational stability. You can make a payroll donation anytime using a paper form or MyCFD
- Donate blood – find a blood drive or donation station near you American Red Cross or Bloodworks NW
- Give to your favorite food bank or through Northwest Harvest. The need is growing and donations are down by 70%.
