Annual reminder and updated guidance for the annual performance evaluation process

This is a reminder that UW’s collective bargaining agreements, the Professional Staff Program and civil service rules all include the expectation that managers complete employee performance evaluations at least annually. If your department has not yet began this process, please share this message with your department’s supervisors and make plans to ensure annual performance evaluations are complete by Tuesday, August 31.

Updated guidance for the annual performance evaluation process can now be found on The Working during COVID-19 website.

While many units have customized evaluation forms, generally applicable guidance and template forms for conducting performance evaluations can be found under “Additional resources” on the Employee work performance web page.
