Appoint your UWCFD campaign coordinators by May 25

Each fall, the UW community raises more than $2 million for hundreds of nonprofits through the UW Combined Fund Drive, our workplace giving campaign. The appointment of creative and committed campaign coordinators who promote the drive is one of the most important elements of our success.

As a UW leader, your selection of a campaign coordinator(s) for your department or unit is vital. Visit https://catalyst.uw.edu/webq/survey/keverly/352383 by May 25 to appoint volunteers from your organization for the 2018 UW Combined Fund Drive campaign. Coordinators serve as the face of the campaign, so it is helpful to select enthusiastic and supportive representatives.

This year’s campaign kicks off October 1 and runs through November 30, and training will be held in September. The featured charity is Summit Assistance Dogs and your coordinator can choose to highlight this nonprofit during the campaign.

The UW Combined Fund Drive is a part of official state business and each campaign coordinator is assigned to campaign staff that will support all fundraising efforts. In addition, the coordinator role can enhance employee development and build project management, leadership and communication skills.

Your assistance in ensuring that your department is well prepared for the campaign will make a positive impact in our community and around the world. For questions about the campaign coordinator role, please contact Kerri Fuller, UW Combined Fund Drive, at 206-616-5437 or keverly@uw.edu.
