{"id":3155,"date":"2017-03-17T01:00:28","date_gmt":"2017-03-17T08:00:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hr.uw.edu\/benefits\/?p=3155"},"modified":"2017-03-22T08:17:55","modified_gmt":"2017-03-22T15:17:55","slug":"find-a-preferred-provider-or-primary-care-physician","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hr.uw.edu\/benefits\/2017\/03\/17\/find-a-preferred-provider-or-primary-care-physician\/","title":{"rendered":"Find a Preferred Provider or Primary Care Physician"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Finding the right provider is important, but while planning for your medical needs, you should also consider finding a provider in your plan network.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why use preferred providers?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>When you see a preferred provider<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You pay less.<\/li>\n<li>Preventive care series (including immunizations) are covered in full.<\/li>\n<li>The provider submits claims and pre-authorization request to the plan on your behalf.<\/li>\n<li>The provider won\u2019t bill you for more than the plan allowed amount.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Searching for a preferred provider is easy when you search through your plan.
