Similar to dental insurance, the UW covers the cost of vision premiums for employees and their dependents, meaning you won\u2019t have to pay a monthly premium. Simply select a plan and enroll.<\/p>\n

You’re eligible to enroll in a vision plan if you meet eligibility requirements for PEBB insurance<\/a>. New employees must select a vision plan and enroll within 31 days from the date they are hired to avoid delayed coverage.<\/p>\n

The chart includes side-by-side cost comparisons for various vision benefits such as routine eye exams, eyeglasses, contact lenses and LASIK surgery, including what you will pay for in-network services and the maximum amount the plans would reimburse you for out-of-network services.<\/p>\n

Ready to enroll?<\/h4>\n

You can find step-by-step instructions for enrolling in benefits<\/a> on the Employee Workday Help website.<\/p>\n

Once you submit your selection in Workday, your vision coverage will begin in accordance with your PEBB eligibility begin date.<\/p>\n

Plan ID cards<\/h4>\n

After you enroll, your vision plan will send you an identification (ID) card to show to providers when you receive care. If you have questions about your ID card, contact your plan directly.<\/p>\n
