Attend a retirement workshop livestream using Zoom<\/h5>\n

Attending a UW Benefits retirement workshop when planning for your retirement is critical in understanding the process of retiring from the University of Washington. Most workshops are available in two formats\u2014join the workshop using livestream or watch at your own pace with an on-demand webinar. Our UWSRP workshop is only available via livestream.<\/p>\n

If you prefer to keep your pre-retirement process confidential, the livestream option allows\u00a0you to change your name to anonymous<\/em>\u00a0and with the on-demand webinar option, you can watch\u00a0short segments of the retirement workshop whenever you would like without attending a live workshop.<\/p>\n

Spouses and partners are welcome to view the livestream workshop or the on-demand webinar.<\/p>\n

Retiring from a DRS plan (PERS, TRS, PSERS or LEOFF)<\/h4>\n

The workshop is intended for employees participating in the Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) plans 1, 2, or 3, Teachers’ Retirement System (TRS) plans 1 or 3, Public Safety Employees Retirement System (PSERS) plan 2, and Law Enforcement Officers’ and Fire Fighters’ Retirement System (LEOFF) plan 2.<\/p>\n

UWSRP: UW Supplemental Retirement Plan Workshop<\/h4>\n

This workshop is intended for employees who were active participants in the UW Retirement Plan (UWRP) on February 28th, 2011 and who, at least time of retirement, anticipate being at least age 62 with at least 10 years’ continuous participation in the UWRP.<\/p>\n
