PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT

Strong relationships yield strong results. It’s a fact that most work gets done through relationships. I specialize in creating emotionally safe, intellectually rigorous spaces for groups to move forward, together with trust, into shared action. My approach to collaborative leadership, and Gracious Space in particular, has galvanized dozens of organizations to work better together while delivering their important mission work. “You can’t get to a good place in a bad way.” Whether it’s working with individuals and groups to tap their full leadership potential, helping groups discover and leverage shared values and goals, agreeing on team process and deliverables, repairing work relationships or generating action plans with diverse stakeholders, my work focuses on opening the heart and mind, learning from difference and responding constructively to the many challenges facing leaders and organizations today.
