Flight Nurse Title Recognizes Unique Work of Airlift Northwest’s Airborne RNs
Airlift Northwest management will be updating the job titles of the organization’s airborne flight nurses in recognition of their unique work aboard aircraft all across the region. Rather than sharing a broad job classification title with hospital registered nurses, the Registered Nurse 2 and Registered Nurse 3 job classes at Airlift Northwest will be designated Flight Nurse and Flight Nurse, Senior (respectively).
This update has been part of an ongoing conversation with staff and union representatives for years, and SEIU 1199 has been apprised. It will not result in any changes to bargaining unit, job code, or salary.
