Trades Overtime Half-Rate

(Trades classes working in Medical Centers only,

AND

Medical Centers SEIU Local 925 classes NOT already receiving a higher shift differential)

Half-time portion of evening and night shift differential overtime premium paid for hours worked in which the majority of time falls between 5pm and 7am when employee is permanently assigned to a qualifying shift for specific approved classes only.

Must be used jointly with PD2 (permanent evening/night shift) or SDT (temporary evening/night shift) earnings types.

The combined result is time and one-half shift differential for evening or night shift hours when the majority of time falls between 5pm and 7am.

For Healthcare Professional/Technical classes use earnings type 2SP or 3SP.

Hourly

Use limited to Trades job classes working in Medical Centers only within the employment types listed above; refer to linked list for trades job classes.

Contract Classified

Use for all job classes in the 7000 thru 8999 series EXCEPT Healthcare Professional/Technical (HCPT) classes which are eligible for a higher premium.

Eligible hours x $1.00 per hour (half time x $2.00 per hour evening and night shift differential)
